68th German Congress for Endocrinology is organized by EndoScience Endocrinology Service GmbH / EndoScience Endokrinologie Service GmbH, German Society for Endocrinology / Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Endokrinologie (DGE) and will be held from Mar 19 - 21, 2025 at Congress Center Baden-Baden, Baden Baden, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany.
Description:
Under this year's main theme "Brain-Body: Interactions in Endocrinology" we are devoting ourselves to the complex and fascinating interactions between the central nervous system, which is so important for endocrine regulation, and the body periphery with all its endocrine end organs. A particular focus will be on the interaction between classical endocrinology and the regulation of metabolism. We also want to address current developments and new scientific approaches in the treatment of the common diseases obesity and diabetes mellitus and discuss the complex interaction between the endocrine system, energy metabolism and central regulation.
In more than 15 scientific symposia, we want to examine the research into new molecular mechanisms in these areas as well as the clinical aspects and use scientific discussion to provide impetus for new diagnostic methods, medications and therapy strategies. The concept of young endocrinologists has enriched the conferences for over 20 years with YARE (Young Active Research in Endocrinology) and will also be represented this year with its own symposium.
This comprehensive program would not have been possible without the active support of the scientific committee and the sections of the DGE.
