Description:
Rhythmic massage according to Dr. Ita Wegman – Further training (D) / Part-time training (CH)
Rhythmic massage is based on the knowledge that humans are soulful beings endowed with mental abilities and that their physical and material body is pulsated with life forces. It appeals to his self-healing powers and thus supports his individuality, which is based on development. Through its rhythmic quality, the rhythmic massage has a direct effect on the life forces of the person (etheric body) and thus on their creative regeneration and renewal abilities, which are in constant movement and transformation.
Special features - Rhythmic massage has a special grip quality that is used in a differentiated manner in therapeutic treatment. What is characteristic is the suction effect that is created by rhythmic, pulsating compression and release with the hands. It gives the individual handles their therapeutic effectiveness. Kneading and walking have a deep effect on the muscles and thus create motivation for healing. The shape of the lemniscate and spiral movements are of cosmic origin and place humans back in their overall context.
Areas of application - The differentiated handling of these grip qualities within therapy can be flowing, warming and pain-relieving, but also dissipating or shaping. This results in the possibility of treating both acute and chronic, inflammatory or hardening disease tendencies in all medical areas. Rhythmic massage is used in numerous specialist areas, for example in surgery, obstetrics, geriatrics, gynecology, special education, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, palliative medicine and psychiatry.
Effect - Rhythmic massage conveys ordering and healing movements to the human organism's area of ??life, which it can take up and transform into healing impulses. For many, especially chronic illnesses of our time, rhythmic massage is a basic therapy to make frozen and hardened things move again and bring them into flow. In this way it combines with medicinal and talk therapy as well as the artistic therapies of anthroposophical medicine.
