47th Colombian Congress of Radiology (CCR 2024)

47th Colombian Congress of Radiology (CCR 2024) is organized by Colombian Association of Radiology / Asociacion Colombiana de Radiologia (ACR) and will be held from May 16 - 18, 2024 at Cartagena de Indias Convention Center, Cartagena, Bolivar, Colombia. 

Description:
This intensive one-day course has as a general objective to make known some of the latest advances in thoracic imaging. The program addresses a wide spectrum of lung diseases and their respective imaging findings, focusing on the analysis of different patterns, as well as the use of classifications and management guides.

The presentations will focus on addressing clinical needs, technical solutions, and proper application of different techniques images, and patterns for diagnosis, making decisions and managing these entities' pathological.

Three expert guest teachers will share their experience with course participants through an interesting and practical combination of didactic conferences and interactive workshops
of case analysis, in which the participants in two groups to facilitate interaction and learning. Activity aimed exclusively at radiologists and radiology residents.

Learning Objectives:
• Know the recent advances in diagnosis imaging and management of lung nodules, in particular of the solid nodule, as well as the advances in diagnosis and treatment of airway diseases.
• Review the anatomy of the trachea and bronchi and describe the epidemiological characteristics and imaging of tracheobronchial tumors.
• Consolidate knowledge about the best current practices in diagnosis and treatment of pleural neoplasms.
• Understand the benefits of the approach diagnosis through patterns in diseases lung inflammation.
• Review the classification of adenocarcinoma lung, its imaging patterns, and the radio-pathological correlation.
