Description:
The  goal  of the German Knee Society is to continually improve the quality of care in knee surgery by  uniting its sub-disciplines . Trauma surgeons, endoprosthetists, sports traumatologists, sports medicine specialists, physiotherapists and scientists have a common task:  continuing education and training through a constant exchange of knowledge and experience in the areas of sports orthopedics, endoprosthetics and traumatology  for the benefit of all patients with knee injuries.

For this reason, the aspect of  interdisciplinarity  plays a prominent role in our training. In addition to tried-and-tested formats, interdisciplinary meetings and professional policy topics offer a forum in which specialists in non-surgical treatment , joint-preserving therapy , sports orthopedics , endoprosthetics , tumor orthopedics and physiotherapists can discuss things together.
