Refresher Course (Paediatric) Basic Life Support Instructor is organized by Amsterdam University Medical Centers / Amsterdam Universitair Medische centra (UMC) and will be held on Sep 29, 2023 at Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc, Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands.

Description:
Internal and external participants who are certified as (Paediatric) Basic Life Support instructor. Prerequisite for participation Valid ERC/NRR qualification. (Note: The validity of the (P) BLS Instructor Certificate expires if one does not conduct a BLS First Aid course at least twice every two years and attends a refresher course once every two years).

Goal:
After completing the refresher course, the student's knowledge and skills related to teaching basic CPR and using the AED are refreshed. Content During this refresher lesson, the knowledge and skills with regard to resuscitating adults, recognizing life-threatening situations, instructing Basic Life Support in cardiac arrhythmias, safe and efficient use of the AED are verbally tested and practical exercises are given.
