The course aims partly to provide basic knowledge in arrhythmia interpretation based on ECG and partly to provide knowledge about emergency and elective investigations, how to assess the risk of different arrhythmias and what treatment these conditions require. 
During the training, we will address and discuss the latest findings and recommendations. The course refers to a. to cover the need for knowledge required to provide answers to the following questions:
• How do you differentiate the different arrhythmias based on the EKG?
• What are the indications for pacemaker treatment? How to interpret a pacemaker ECG?
• Which drugs should be used for PSVT? What are the risk situations for WPW syndrome?
• How do you investigate atrial fibrillation patients? What new anti-arrhythmics are available and when should they be used? Which patients should have Waran or Thrombin inhibitors and when should treatment be started? When should  conversion with electricity or pharmaceuticals take place, respectively frequency regulation? Which patients should undergo ablation and when?
• In which situations are VES harmless and when are they dangerous? How to treat VES? How do I manage patients with acute onset of VT? How should we assess risk in VT of different genes? Which patients should have an ICD? What medicines  are available and how should they be used?
• What is CRT treatment? What new findings are there? When should this treatment be given and combined with a defibrillator?

Course Objectives:
• The goal is that after completing the course, in addition to emergency treatment, the participants should also be able to handle and investigate our more common arrhythmias independently, as well as have some knowledge of the rarer but    potentially life-threatening arrhythmias. 
• The participant must be able to independently diagnose the arrhythmia mechanism based on the EKG and be able to carry out the treatment and know the investigation process for each arrhythmia. 
• The participant must have knowledge of the latest recommendations based on national and international guidelines.
• The purpose is also to be able to decide which patients have an indication for a pacemaker, implantable defibrillator (ICD), so-called CRT treatment and which conditions are best treated with catheter ablation.
