2023 Kentucky Statewide Trauma and Emergency Medicine Symposium is organized by University of Kentucky, UK HealthCare CECentral and will be held from Oct 17 - 19, 2023 at Hyatt Regency Lexington, Lexington, Kentucky, United States of America.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Outline best practices for resuscitation of trauma patients, a critical component of early care.
• Explain current research and trends of care for trauma and emergency medicine patients.
• Evaluate selected contemporary issues affecting trauma and emergency care systems.
• Describe pre-hospital, medical, and nursing management of specific emergency conditions, injuries, or complications. 
• Identify epidemiological factors related to trauma and emergency medicine.
