13th International Fluid Academy Days (iFAD) is organized by International Fluid Academy (iFAD) and will be held from Nov 23 - 25, 2023 at Hilton Antwerp Old Town, Antwerpen, Antwerpen, Belgium.

Description:
The aim of this 13th edition is again to review recent advances in fluid management and hemodynamic and organ function monitoring in the critical care setting in a comprehensive manner for intensivists, anesthesiologists, and emergency care physicians, as well as interested internists and surgeons.

We will cover, discuss, dissect and collaborate on all things fluids, focused on the 4 phases of fluid management, hemodynamic monitoring and the concept of fluid stewardship. A neglected topic for way too long, the interest in fluid therapy seems to be quickly rising as the medical community is making a shift from looking at fluids as a mere method of stabilization towards the appreciation of its relevant side effects.
