This course provides learners with a deep understanding of ultrasound image acquisition and interpretation in the critical care setting. Didactic presentations combined with extensive hands-on practice will provide the knowledge of practical ultrasound skills. This comprehensive curriculum focuses on fundamental and advanced ultrasound techniques. The topics of the course include cardiac output, left/right ventricular function, focused assessed transthoracic echocardiography (FATE) examination, vascular ultrasound, and much more. Hands-on training will include utilizing state-of-the-art equipment under expert supervision and using real-life scenarios that simulate critical cases to enhance your problem-solving abilities.
