ICRS Focus Meeting Thessaloniki - The Impact of Sports in Cartilage: How Much is Normal is organized by International Cartilage Regeneration & Joint Preservation Society (ICRS) and will be held from Jun 23 - 25, 2022 at Mediterranean Palace Hotel, Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece.

Course Description:
All of them know the severity of the morbidity caused by cartilage injuries or posttraumatic – postsurgical osteoarthritis and they're excited to share that during this unique ICRS Focus Meeting, They'll all be able to grasp the underlying issue, focusing on the mid- and long-term impacts of damage, or even the absence of injury!!

There will be a presentation of Epidemiological and pathophysiological data as well as surgical techniques already used worldwide for treating cartilage lesions. Evidence-based rehabilitation and prevention, as well as surgical or conservative treatments that can produce better results, will be given specific consideration.

Our main goal is for everyone to understand the influence of sports on joint homeostasis and cartilage health by the end of the Focus Meeting, and we hope to start a conversation about how much is optimal and what is the best treatment protocol. However, in the meantime, delegates and faculty will have the great oppertunity to experience the famous Greek hospitality in the emblematic city of northern Greece next to mountain Olympus and the birthplace of Alexander the Great. Museum tours, superb cuisine, and pleasant time in this vibrant city will all add to the scientific event's worth.
