OVERVIEW
2022 AGORA Advanced Gynaecological Laparoscopy Course is organized by Agora Medical Education and will be held from Apr 28 - 30, 2022 at Richmond Rowing Club, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Target Audience:
The course is designed for trainees and surgeons who are performing basic laparoscopic surgery. It will enhance their skills in order to be able to perform more advanced procedures.
Description:
The Advanced Gynaecological Laparoscopy course was designed to extend the surgical skills taught in the RANZCOG training program and fill any potential gaps, focusing on laparoscopic surgical skills for trainees and fellows. This course is approved for RANZCOG Continuous Professional Development points. The course has been running annually since 2018 (not run in 2020 due to COVID-19) and has consistently increased participation numbers each year. We believe this course has heightened importance in 2022, as the COVID-19 pandemic has reduced exposure to gynaecological surgeries for RANZCOG trainees and fellows throughout 2020 and 2021.
We see great value in the course for both trainees and fully qualified Gynaecologists. For the trainees, the Advanced Gynaecological Laparoscopy course is a great introduction to the basic techniques required for laparoscopic surgery. It is also an introduction to the equipment, training models and materials.
Course Features:
• Training in all skills required to perform advanced laparoscopic surgery including surgical anatomy, instrument/tissue handling, tissue dissection, laparoscopic suturing, intra/extracorporeal knot tying

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the course commencement date will receive full refund minus $250.00 administration fees. A refund of 50% of the registration fee will be made on cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the course commencement date.
In the event of the course being cancelled for any unforeseen reason, registrants will be notified no later than 2 weeks prior to course commencement date and a full refund will be issued.
In the event of state border closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a full refund will be offered to affected participnts.
