The 28th Annual Conference on Challenges in Gynecology was designed for doctors, nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, and practitioners. It is also for nurse associates and nurses. These professionals face increasing challenges in assessing and treating female patients. The expert faculty will present the most recent evidence-based advances in gynecologic healthcare, discuss emerging clinical data, and give skills and strategies to be applied and implemented into your practice. This educational activity will increase the competence and performance of all participants and improve your ability to work as part of a cohesive healthcare team.

The conference topics were selected according to the educational needs that underlie identified gaps in professional practice. These gaps were derived using various sources, including past participant evaluations and results data, Symposia Medicus online survey, and medical and nursing data like current clinical guidelines, research findings, and literature reviews.
This conference has a stellar faculty. Each faculty member was chosen based on their specific area of expertise and ability to communicate current, evidence-based, and practical information to participants.

The conference format includes didactic lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and case studies. After a series of lectures, attendees can ask challenging and critical questions to the faculty about how they care for patients in various gynecologic situations.

Conference objectives:

• Discuss the initial diagnosis of a mammographic abnormality or breast lump.
• Recognize the vulvar manifestations of common dermatoses
• Analyze the symptoms of sexual pain disorders and come up with a differential diagnosis
• Understand the importance of patient-centered communication and the impact it has on patient care
