Program Purpose:
Many changes have taken place in the field of women's health creating significant implications for those who care for female patients. This program is designed to provide participants with current up to date information in order to provide the very best in contemporary patient care. Unique to the lecture format is the diagnosis of a variety of conditions unique to female patients and management of these conditions in both an outpatient as well as an inpatient critical care setting. Participants should be able to apply this new knowledge immediately into clinical practice. A multi-discipline, integrated approach to patient care is emphasized with an eye towards quality improvement and overall health care team performance.
