Dr. Jerry G. Ninia is a dual board-certified specialist in phlebology and obstetrics & gynecology with more than 30 years of clinical experience. He is widely recognized for his expertise in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of venous disease, as well as his longstanding commitment to women’s health.

Dr. Ninia earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Nassau University Medical Center. He later pursued advanced training in phlebology and became a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), gaining specialized expertise in vascular ultrasound and vein procedures.

A respected leader in his field, Dr. Ninia served on the Board of Directors of the American College of Phlebology and contributed to the development of the national board certification examination in phlebology. He has authored multiple textbook chapters and more than 25 peer-reviewed publications, and has delivered over 100 lectures nationally and internationally on venous disease and women’s health.

In addition to his clinical practice, he holds a faculty appointment as Clinical Associate Professor at Stony Brook University Renaissance School of Medicine and serves as Director of the Department of OB/GYN at St. Charles Hospital. He has also been actively involved in healthcare leadership through his service with Catholic Health Services of Long Island.

Dr. Ninia is the founder of Varicose Vein Center, where he personally performs consultations and procedures, offering patient-centered, evidence-based vein care. He is known for combining academic excellence with a straightforward, compassionate approach that prioritizes patient education and quality outcomes.
