Urological Association of Physician Assistants (UAPA) 10th Annual Meeting is organized by Urological Association of Physician Assistants (UAPA). This Onsite medical conference will be held from Jul 23 - 25, 2021 at Kona Kai Resort & Spa, San Diego, California, United States of America.

This activity has been reviewed by the AAPA Review Panel and is compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 16.75 AAPA Category 1 CME Credits. PA’s should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

Educational Objectives:
At the conclusion of the UAPA 10thAnnual Meeting, participants will be able to:
• Discuss the "real" risks of testosterone therapy.
• Review common Pediatric Urological Issues – evaluation and treatment.
• Discuss management of refractory BPH/LUTS.
• Review testicular anatomy.
• Discuss currently recommended assessment and treatment options for castration resistant prostate cancer (CRPC).
• Discuss the role of survivorship after curative intent treatment for prostate cancer and when is it time to engage medical oncology.
• Recognize the most important cancer types in hereditary cancer syndromes and the process for referral to genetic counseling when identified in a patient and/or their family.
• Discuss staging and appropriate work up for RCC.
• Discuss management of patients with prostate and bladder cancer.
• Define palliative care.
• Formulate appropriate therapeutic regimens to create best outcomes for patients through small group discussion of case studies.
• Discuss the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of pelvic fractures and urethral disruption injuries.
• Identify the 3 main treatment options for refractory OAB including the risks and benefits of each treatment.
• Describe the unique urologic risks of neurogenic patients of different neurologic etiologies.
• Review diagnosis, management, and treatment of the most common conditions treated in outpatient urology.
• Describe the most common causes of ED, identify the risk factors, and explain the recommended evaluation per AUA Guidelines.
• Discuss when it is appropriate to order urodynamic testing.
• Analyze the components of the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery pathway.
• Identify the local and postural functions of the pelvic floor muscles.
• Review the epidemiology and pathogenesis of the common types of kidney stones.
