CPD Hours: 9
Duration: 1.5 day
Conference Overview:
This 1.5-day course emphasizes the gait analysis in the normal adult and investigating how inefficiencies/ compensatory strategies will impact the gait pattern.
The medical conference will examine gait through observation and handling (as in the norm in the clinical setting). It is directed towards the qualified therapist working with adults with obtained neurological damage and will be best fit to those who have a working knowledge of assessment of 'normals' and are currently, or have recently, worked in neurology.
Conference Aims:

• To produce a clinical reasoning process to analyze which body part to 'begin with' in the treatment of gait.
Conference Outcomes:
At the conclusion of this course the attendees should be able to:
• Quickly assess gait in the clinical setting.
• Accord clinical reasons for which aspects of gait should be treated and why.
• Form a treatment strategy to discuss an aspect of gait.
