Course Description:
They would like to cordially invite you to the 6th Hamburg Heart Circuit Day. Once again this year, the focus of the event will be on case-related, practice-related topics related to the broad spectrum of cardiovascular diseases.

The speakers are asked to present their current diagnostic and treatment pathways using the example of specific patient cases. As in previous years, participants can put questions to the expert panels interactively.

The diagnosis and treatment of heart failure is increasingly the focus of cardiological care: individually adapted treatment options from an ever-increasing spectrum of drugs, devices and interventions bring the symptomatic patient a gain in quality of life. In the primary and secondary prophylaxis of CAD and PAD, the familiar topics of LDL cholesterol, hypertension and diabetes are partly to be rethought: Case studies from the invited experts create a bridge between current guidelines and therapy options and your daily practice.

In the interventional treatment of CHD, complex interventions such as the reopening of chronic occlusions or main trunk stenoses can now be carried out safely and effectively if the appropriate indication (evidence of ischemia) is given. Exciting new developments can also be reported in valve therapy and electrophysiology. In stroke prevention, the practical application of the NOACs as well as the possible use of interventional procedures (LAA and PFO closure) must be weighed individually. The duration and intensity of platelet inhibition also requires adjustment due to new data.
