Critical Care Imaging Interpretation is organized by Lightbox Radiology Education. This Onsite medical conference will be held from Jun 28 - Jul 02, 2021, at Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa, Sigatoka, Nadroga-Navosa, Fiji.
Target Audience:
ICU physicians, Emergency physicians, ICU & Emergency Registrars, Radiographers. It is assumed participants have at least a basic understanding of imaging interpretation or have attended Chest X-Ray, Emergency X-Ray or Acute Medical & Surgical CT Interpretation Courses in the past.
Accreditation:
Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists: Participants in the ANZCA and FPM CPD program may claim their attendance under the Knowledge and skills activity Short format learning, at 2 credits per hour. Online component at 1 credit per hour.
Australian College for Emergency Medicine: Approved for 17.5 ACEM CPD hours;
Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine: 16 PDP units, Grant eligibility: Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics, Anaesthetics, Surgery.
Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy: 7.5 CPD Credits per half day Formal Education
College of Intensive Care Medicine: Lectures – Category 2A, points per hour 1; Active or interactive Group Learning – Category 2B, points per hour 1.
Royal Australasian College of Physicians: Recommended MyCPD category 1 - ‘Educational Activities’ at 1 credit per hour.
Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists: 20 RANZCR CPD points can be claimed for attendance at the Critical Care Imaging Interpretation course to be held on 12-13 June 2021 or 28 June to 2 July 21.
Description:
A comprehensive overview of X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT and MRI imaging interpretation of commonly encountered disease in the critical care setting. Each module comprises a lecture followed by quizzes and an interactive case review session across X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT and MRI to consolidate fundamental principles of imaging interpretation.
This course has been designed for radiology registrars, emergency and ICU physicians, surgical registrars, junior doctors and radiographers.
