Description:
The theme for the meeting this year is "Bridging Medicine and Wellness: a Melodic Series of Mini-Symposiums." We are looking forward to a series of concise, fun, and interactive presentations. Each mini-symposium has two clinical talks and one wellness talk plus two extended interactive sessions. They will run the gamut from the Glen Hayden surgical lecture, "Best Practices for Vaginal Hysterectomy" presented by Dr. Peter Jeppson, to "Sex Therapy: how you can help your patients in 20 minutes" presented by Dr. Janet Brito. Other topics will include an update on Toxic Exposures in Pregnancy, Food as Medicine, The Importance of Sleep for patients and providers, and District VIII JF Past Chair, Dr. Mariam Savabi, with "Interrupting Microaggressions."
