Is our paediatric assessment and management seminar for you ?  Are you a nurse or student who cares for paediatric patients occasionally or on a daily basis?  You know children are not just little adults, but do you need a “tune-up” of your assessment, and big ticket issues like recognising deterioration, fever management and which rash is what?  The ECT4Health Paediatric Assessment and Management Seminar will answer all these questions and more.

This is a one day seminar that takes the nurse through the physiological differences between children and adults, and looks at how this impacts on assessment and management of patients.

• Paediatric physiology differences
• Traige - what is a sick child?
• Asthma in children
• Respiratory presentations in children
• Dehydration
