OVERVIEW

35th year of the course, Medical and Surgical Aspects of Esophageal and Foregut Disorders: Pathophysiology and Treatment is organized by Foundation for Research and Education in Esophageal and Foregut Disease and will be held from Feb 06 - 11, 2020 at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, Maui, Hawaii, United States of America.

Course Description:
The course, which began in 1986, is specifically designed to be a classroom-like environment for a small group of interested physicians and allied health personnel. The course is particularly appreciated by gastroenterologists and gastrointestinal surgeons with interest in esophageal disorders and for those who have set up a swallowing center and function as a team to collaboratively approach esophageal problems. The lectures are designed to encourage discussion on a broad variety of esophageal topics including both benign and malignant disorders. It is held annually in the winter on the islands of Hawaii. The island changes from year to year, but the goal is to provide a high-intensity educational environment while allowing time in the afternoon to enjoy the warmth and beauty of the Hawaiian Islands. Participation in the course will allow participants to get in-depth and up-to-date information on all aspects of esophageal and foregut diseases.

Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
