Description:
The basic course provides an introduction to general aspects of laparoscopic surgery. The focus is on laparoscopic cholecystectomy, with an overview of the broader range of laparoscopic operations, e.g. B. Laparoscopic appendectomy, endoscopic herniotomy is given. The theoretical content is supplemented by practical exercises in the workshop. The participants perform laparoscopic cholecystectomies and appendectomies on specimens in pelvi and perfusion trainers and practice laparoscopic suturing and knotting techniques. With additional basic exercises on the virtual simulation trainer, it is possible to give the participants measurable feedback on their learning curve.
