British Society for Haematology (BSH) 60th Annual Scientific Meeting is organized by MCI Group and will be held from Apr 27 - 29, 2020 at The International Convention Centre (ICC), Birmingham, England, United Kingdom.
Description:
BSH 2020 promises to further improve on this as we include celebrations reflecting 60 years of achievements in haematology whilst also looking forward to an exciting future. The programme will focus on developing national and international partnerships which enable outstanding science to transform patient care.
In addition to a wide ranging, packed scientific programme built in response to feedback from 2019, we will be opening up a range of challenging practical issues for the multi-professional workforce. Sessions will include opportunities within the digital age, the effects of transgender changes and personal and professional resilience.
The scientific programme boasts a broad and increasing range of key opinion leaders. Major organisations such as the American Society of Hematology, European Haematology Association, International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis, American Association of Blood Banks and the European Society for Bone and Marrow Transplantation are holding joint sessions in 2020 to highlight the strong relationships with the BSH in resonating the global voice of haematology. Dr Stephanie Lee, President of ASH, will present within the opening plenary session. We will also be joined by Professor Libby McIntyre, Vice-President of EHA Association and Professor Andrew Goddard, President of the Royal College of Physicians.
A number of Meet the Expert and breakfast sessions will facilitate close networking and our ever-popular Crucible Session will see trainees presenting on the subject; "What can haematology learn from others?” This year, we will be running a parallel nurse-focussed session day throughout Tuesday and a NCRI haemato-oncology trials day on Wednesday.
