OVERVIEW

Vision day is organized by The Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) and will be held on Feb 19, 2019 at The Royal Society of Medicine, London, England, United Kingdom.

Description:
The Paediatric Vision Day is aimed at pediatricians, emergency medics, optometrists and GPs, who are usually the first port of call for children presenting with eye conditions.

Through a series of lectures and interactive workshops, this event is designed to familiarise you with both common and emergency eye conditions, and equip you with the clinical skills to examine children’s vision in the non-ophthalmology setting, and improve confidence in managing and referring these patients.

There will also be a global health twist to the day, as we learn from the experiences of our colleagues from Peek Vision and Orbis Flying Eye Hospital.

 Topics include:
• Understand normal visual development in a child and age-appropriate vision testing
• Recognize and manage common and emergency pediatric eye conditions
• Build confidence in ophthalmic consultation and examination skills

Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
