Course Description:
The Gordon Research Seminar on Stem Cells and Cancer is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting-edge ideas.

Developing effective therapeutics to treat degenerative diseases and cancer requires a comprehensive understanding of how small changes at the molecular and cellular levels influence the onset and progression of these pathologies. In this meeting, we will explore mechanisms that promote healthy tissue function and regenerative potential, and investigate how perturbing these mechanisms impacts organ repair potential and tumorigenesis. We will also evaluate how these findings provide new insights in generating improved therapies.
