Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of the conference attendees should be able to:
• Implement the latest scientific advances into evidenced based standards of care in radiation oncology.
• Demonstrate competence in billing and coding for radiation oncology treatment in the face of increased governmental regulation and financial cuts.
• Evaluate the treatment of acute and long-term complications of radiation therapy for Breast, CNS, Endometrial, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, Head & Neck, Lymphoma, Sarcoma, and Thoracic Malignancies in order to improve patient outcomes.
• Describe and apply state of the art treatment management for Breast, CNS, Endometrial, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, Head & Neck, Lymphoma, Sarcoma, and Thoracic Malignancies.
• Interpret the changing political, economic, and regulatory health care environment in order to survive the year ahead.
• Link clinical/practice updates to address clinical controversies in tumor boards and grand rounds.
