vRad Education and MEDNAX Radiology Solutions bring you the Eighth-Annual CME Conference on Practical Radiology at the beautiful Bellagio Las Vegas – exploring core concepts in emergency radiology that can be readily applied in everyday practice.
This year’s conference features an exciting schedule of lectures by prominent experts including Elliot Fishman, MD of Johns Hopkins, Katherine Richman, MD of UCSD, and perfusion scanning pioneer Max Wintermark, MD of Stanford.
This intimate conference of approximately 100 radiologists is an ideal setting for engaging case review as well as socializing and networking with colleagues from around the country and a range of practice settings including vRad, private practice, and academic groups.
Conference Description:
Participants will be exposed to complex radiology cases, pathologies and imaging applications. They will be updated on the latest advances and trends in radiologic diagnosis, which, in turn, will allow for prompt and accurate patient care. This will also expand their range of expertise and knowledge.
Course Objectives:
• Identify imaging approaches to allow prompt assessment of the injured or ill patient.
• Develop and utilize a systematic approach to the assessment of traumatic injuries and non-traumatic injuries, from head to toe.
• Identify pertinent aspects of nighttime and emergency radiology.
• Understand the latest imaging technologies to deliver continuous high-quality care in emergency radiology.
