Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course by AOCPMR

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course is organized by American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AOCPMR) and will be held from Jan 24 - 26, 2019 at Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center, Breckenridge, Colorado, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is physical medicine and rehabilitation clinician currently performing ultrasound imaging or wishing to expand his or her capacity to incorporate ultrasound imaging into the practice. Physicians, residents, and fellows should attend this course.

Conference Description:
This conference is comprised of two parts: a didactic series and a hands-on skill lab workshop that includes a cadaver session. The lecture topics covered include both fundamental and intermediate topics. This will include discussions on case studies, hydro dissection techniques, ultrasound-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures and dynamic evaluation of shoulder injuries.

The focus will be entirely on the shoulder. During the hands-on live portion of the course, participants will be able to perform both diagnostic and interventional ultrasound of the shoulder. Small groups are created based on skill level and groups are kept small to ensure a 1 to 4 faculty to participant ratio.
