This meeting will assist and aid community healthcare providers and medical professionals with knowledge, research and access to cannabis-based medicines, practices and services. Join practicing physicians and provider group presentations and panels on medical cannabis therapies and treatments. Thought-provoking speakers will present their research and development, technologies and services, more importantly provide physicians, healthcare professionals the opportunity to assess and integrate medical cannabis within existing practices.

There is a growing body of research supporting cannabis for medical purposes. Studies and anecdotal evidence suggest cannabis can be used for various medical conditions including debilitating and neuropathic pain, chronic nerve injury, cancer-related treatments, Parkinson's disease, PTSD, epilepsy, gastrointestinal, mental health and more.

Our program will address opioids in medical practice, this topic is important and has become a highly public health issue. Discussion topics will cover a range of issues, including opioid addiction and alternative medicines, particularly to primary care providers that maintain and monitor patients on chronic opioid therapy.
