Course Description:
Concepts in Anesthesiology will present an array of significant topics intended for anesthesiologists and anesthetists. Didactic lectures with ample question and answer time will provide insight into the essentials of management of the geriatric patient, the management of pulmonary hypertension, and the obstetric patient for non-obstetric surgery. Current concepts in brain monitoring and the management of septic shock will be covered.

The course will increase medical knowledge leading to improved patient care and improved system practice.
