Course Description:
Each year, cardiologists treat more and more patients who have suffered out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OOHA). OOHA patients are a challenging group of patients and despite many advances in their management, long term survival rates are still poor.
In order to improve their chances of survival, these critically ill patients need a coordinated and consistent approach. Emerging data support the use of an early invasive cardiology strategy alongside contemporary critical care, and this meeting aims to address the day-to day issues cardiology teams face when treating these patients.

• Emergency PCI strategy
• Critical care in the cath lab
• Advanced circulatory support
• Cardiac arrest networks
• Systems for survivors
