26th Annual Spring Conference on High Risk Obstetrics is organized by Symposia Medicus and will be held from Mar 06 - 09, 2019 at Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa, Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

The target audience for this medical event is designed for physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, PAs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who face challenges in the care of the high risk pregnant patient.

Continuing Education Credit:

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has assigned up to 18 cognate credits to this program.

Conference Description:
The goal of this conference is to increase knowledge and enhance the competence of attendees. Emphasis will be placed on practical application of the evidence-based topics presented.

Topics for this year’s conference have been selected based on the educational needs determined from the identified professional practice gaps. The gaps were derived from a variety of sources including evaluations and outcomes data from past participants; clinical expert input; Symposia Medicus’ online survey; and other medical and nursing data.

Conference Objectives:
• Screen a pregnant patient for substance abuse during pregnancy
• Manage respiratory failure in the pregnant patient
• Assess risks and management strategies associated with the short cervix
• Manage patients with placenta accreta
• Order appropriate testing to assess possible infection
