The Wien Center for Alzheimer's Disease and Memory Disorders, Mount Sinai Medical Center and 1Florida ADRC are happy to present:
The Special Topic Workshop and the Alzheimer’s Public Educational Forum that will take place on January 19-20, 2019 in Miami Beach, Florida, USA.

The MCI Symposium will have three sessions on:
1. Interaction of Vascular and Neurodegenerative Disease
2. Multimodal Imaging in the Diagnosis of Incipient Neurodegenerative, diseases
3. Neurorehabilitation for MCI;

The program also includes:
· The Workshop on Acculturative Stress, Discrimination and Cognitive Performance in the Older Adults;
· The Alzheimer’s Public Educational Forum titled Mild Cognitive Impairment: Early Diagnosis and the Impact of Stress, Culture and Memory

Training. 
This event will offer up to 12.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits (included in the registration fee).

The MCI Symposium and Workshop’s audience will consist of neurologists, psychiatrists, geriatricians, gerontologists, epidemiologists, neuropsychologists, psychologists and neuroscientists. The Public Educational Forum will attract individuals with Alzheimer's disease, at-risk family members along with professional and family caregivers.

1Florida Alzheimer’s Disease & Research Center, funded by the National Institute on Aging, evaluates people for diagnosis and participation in research studies. The 1Florida ADRC will have the opportunity to try new medicines to research their effectiveness with slowing down, stopping, or preventing the disease. The center also evaluates people that have memory disorders and problems with thinking functions. The center hopes that many people will agree to donate their brains after they die. The brain donations will allow people to contribute for many years after their death and will help researchers involved in a variety of research projects to learn about the disease and treatments. These discoveries may save the lives of our children for generations to come.
