12th Annual Multidisciplinary International Transoral Surgery Course is organized by Florida Hospital Nicholson Center and will be held from Feb 17 - 19, 2019 at Florida Hospital Nicholson Center, Celebration, Florida, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is Surgeons. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 22.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Overview:
HPV-related oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) is increasing in prevalence at a rapid pace worldwide. Traditional treatment regimens designed for non-related HPV OPSCC may not apply with this different, and new disease. This international course was created to review the changing trends in the treatment of HPV-related OPSCC, emphasizing minimally invasive transoral surgical approaches. With a strong practical focus, the course will include surgical and medical oriented lectures. Ten hours of cadaver dissection using both a transoral laser microscopic (TLM) technique and transoral robotic surgery (TORS) technique is available with hands-on faculty instruction. International faculty will lead clinical case discussions that will consolidate the learning objectives. The face-to-face relationship between the faculty and participants makes this course an important starting point for all specialists who want to explore minimally invasive transoral surgery for HPV-related OPSCC.

Course Objectives:
• Indicate the factors that influenced the development of a new staging system for HPV-related oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma.
• Describe the impact of traditional risk factors for mortality from HPV-related oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma.
• Employ the various transoral surgical procedures utilized for the treatment of HPV-related oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma.
• Identify the patient best served with adjuvant treatment following surgery for HPV-related oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma.
• Discuss the complications associated with following treatment for HPV-related oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma.
