Course Objectives :
• Understand the implications of familial breast, ovarian and uterine cancer
• Appreciate medical and surgical methods for treating abnormal bleeding
• develop an efficient, cost-effective algorithm for diagnosing primary and secondary amenorrhea
• appreciate the burden of HPV disease, and strategies for screening and prevention
• Understand the physiology of the menopause, and the current status of hormone and non-hormonal therapy
• As the first lecture of the week, this sets the stage for review of scientific evidence in an objective manner
• Understand the myths and realities regarding contraceptive methods, including LARCs
• Develop an efficient method to evaluate and treat anaemia in pregnancy
• Develop a cost-effective treatment plan for assessing PCOS and related conditions
• Utilize appropriate diagnostic approaches to evaluate and treat patients across the CVI spectrum
