22nd Annual Ophthalmology Symposium is organized by University of Colorado School of Medicine and will be held from Sep 28 - 29 2018 at Colorado School of Public Health - CU Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, Colorado, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is ophthalmologists. This CME Conference has been approved FOR a maximum of 11.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
To provide up-to-date, state-of-the-art information on new and improved technology in the field of ophthalmology to ophthalmologists, ophthalmologists-in-training and ophthalmic technicians. Internationally known faculty will present lectures, case studies and panel discussions that will provide innovative, useful information to practicing physicians and their staff which they can use in their day to day practices.
Conference Objectives are :
After participating in this event, learners will be able to:
• Measure data supporting various treatments of acute inflammatory optic neuropathy.
• Analyze topographic findings in patients with keratoconus and assess which cataract/keratoconus patients may benefit from the placement of a toric intraocular lens.
• Identify different management options for intraocular pressure control in uveitic glaucoma.
• Assess how prior refractive surgery changes intraocular lens calculations and be familiar with the surgical adjustments needed in post-refractive patients.
• Implement appropriate use of OCT imaging in the management of glaucoma.
