UCSF Imaging Update in Wine Country is organized by The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Office of Continuing Medical Education and will be held from Aug 06 - 10, 2018 at Silverado Resort and Spa, Napa, California, United States of America. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 25.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Overview :
This course, featuring the breadth and depth of UCSF Radiology expertise in all subspecialties, is designed for practicing radiologists in the community, and covers fundamentals and pitfalls of state-of-the-art imaging, as well as hot-topics in short, focused sessions. This fi veday course is designed to present a complete review of all systems and modalities for the general radiologist. A focus of the course will be appropriate imaging technique and utilization.

The American College of Radiology (ACR) issues imaging guidelines for a variety of cancers, such as BI-RADS for breast Imaging, and LI-RADS for liver imaging. Successful implementation of these guidelines requires radiology providers to be familiar with the imaging fi ndings, the proper nomenclature, and the latest acquisition technique. The integration of these updates and protocols will be discussed and reinforced at this conference.

Objectives :
At the completion of the course, the attendee should be able to understand and apply:
• Current guidelines and protocols for cancer imaging, with focus on breast, colon, endometrium, liver, lung, prostate and pediatrics;
• Up-to-date imaging approaches to trauma and emergency conditions of the brain and spine;
• Imaging pearls and pitfalls in joint injuries of the shoulder, elbow and knee;
• Fundamentals and criteria for imaging of women and children.
