TGS/TDMA Annual Conference 2018

Texas Geriatrics Society (TGS)/Texas Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine - TMDA Annual Conference is organized by Texas Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine - TMDA, Texas Geriatrics Society (TGS) and will be held from Aug 10 - 12, 2018 at Omni San Antonio Hotel at the Colonnade, San Antonio, Texas, United States of America.

This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 17 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Conferene Objectives are :
• Increase ability to utilize multidisciplinary resources to educate patients and families about palliative care, hospice, and advanced care planning. Improved ability to provide palliative care across multiple sites of care. Increased ability to provide effective comfort care.
? • Learn and understand liability risks surrounding wound care and learn how to document proactively to reduce those risks. Increase ability to engage with ACOs to partner and improve patient care.
• Attendees will be able to apply principles of evidence-based practice and clinical practice guidelines to common geriatric conditions such as infections, pressure ulcers, trauma, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, CHF, and mental health challenges in post-acute and long-term care.
