Conference Description:
The Symposium on Robotic Thoracic Surgery is designed to provide surgeons and their teams with a detailed overview of launching a successful robotic thoracic surgery program within a hospital setting. Led by experts in the field, emphasis will be placed on the specific procedural and technical steps required when using a robot for general thoracic pulmonary, mediastinal, and esophageal operations. Attendees will experience live-demonstrations and hands-on opportunities with multiple simulators during this dynamic new course offering from the Society.
Additional topics during the 1.5-day course will address proper prerequisites, individual and team skills, supplies and equipment, training, administrative elements, and team requirements.
