Southern California Vascular Surgical Society (SCVSS) 36th Annual Meeting is organized by Southern California Vascular Surgical Society (SCVSS) and will be held during May 04 - 06, 2018 at The Ranch at Laguna Beach, Laguna Beach, California, United States of America.
Conference Objectives:
Topics will be presented which relate to the clinical treatment vascular surgery patients. Presentations will focus on best surgical practice and expert opinion.
• Describe treatment modalities for complex aortic aneurysm repair using off the shelf devices and alternating transfemoral and axillary approaches.
• Develop a personal algorithm for training and treating juxtarenal or more complex aneurysms or a referral center to send these complex patients to.
• Critically evaluate the indications for secondary interventions and understand the early and late benefits of sac management.
• Describe the treatments for late stage venous disease and understand the overlap with CLI and what that entails from a natural history standpoint.
• Identify the limitations of on IFU use of iliac branch devices currently available or soon to be available.
• Recognize that there is still debate amongst bypass techniques using autologous vein grafts when analyzed using a prospectively collected database.
