Southern Academy of Periodontology (SAP) Winter Seminar is organized by Southern Academy of Periodontology (SAP) and will be held during Jan 26 - 27, 2018 at The Westin Buckhead Atlanta, Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Periodontologists. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 12 CE Credits.
Horizontal and Vertical Ridge Augmentation: New Perspectives:
Vertical and horizontal augmentation presents one of the greatest challenges of bone regeneration in implant dentistry. Recent research on vertical and horizontal ridge augmentation as well as soft tissue reconstruction will be presented.
Learning Objectives:
• Understand the biology of the incorporation of the bone graft
• Understand the surgical anatomy of the floor of the mouth
• Learn the surgical principles of ridge augmentation surgery
• Learn the surgical principles of the reconstruction of the vestibule and keratinized tissue after ridge augmentation
AAP Insurance Seminar :
Careful and accurate management of insurance claims is one of the most important services you can offer
patients today. Timely submission, precision coding, and excellent communication with patients and third parties can impact the success of your practice. Staff responsible for the management of insurance claims and coding will benefit by attending this workshop to sharpen their skills and learn new ways to improve delivery of service to internal and external customers.
The Insurance Workshop will be presented by the Third Party Specialist for the AAP. Also, as of January, 2008
the insurance workshops that are requested by state and regional periodontal societies can provide 3.5 CE credits to their group under the ADA CERP standards towards their practice management requirement, as long as the group is a certified CE provider.
Learn: Differences between types of dental insurance to increase effective patient communication; To properly apply ADA new CDT-2018 codes, for more accurate coding submissions; To communicate with third parties to handle controversial coding issues; The basic structure of AMA codes and to recognize appropriate indications for submitting to medical; and information about ICD-10-CM coding.
