OVERVIEW

Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology (SOAP) 50th Annual Meeting is organized by Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology (SOAP) and will be held during May 09 - 13 , 2018 at Loews Miami Beach Hotel, Miami Beach, Florida, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is anesthesiologists, obstetricians, neonatologists, obstetric medicine specialists, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, residents, fellows and medical students. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 32.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

The theme of the meeting will be Obstetric Anesthesia: Past, Present, and Future.

Conference Objectives are :
• Integrate anesthetic techniques and implement policies to manage and minimize chances for new opioid dependence in the peri-partum period.
• Employ current guidelines and tools for obstetric hemorrhage to decrease severe maternal morbidity.
• Integrate new developments in the fields of obstetrics and neonatology to enhance interdisciplinary communication and management of parturients and their babies.
• Develop ERAS protocols to optimize anesthetic and postdelivery medications to reduce narcotic consumption, earlier mobilization and earlier discharges.
• Express the elements of critical care medicine used in obstetric anesthesia that may improve maternal outcomes.
