Second Annual Precision Medicine Symposium: Advances in Immunotherapy is organized by UK HealthCare CECentral and will be held during Apr 13 - 14, 2018 at Griffin Gate Marriott Resort & Spa, Lexington, Kentucky, United States of America.

Course Description:
This symposium highlights new advances in immunotherapy and how it is changing the cancer landscape as a fourth major treatment option. Attendees will learn about the basics of cancer immunology, biomarkers to predict immunotherapy and the latest clinical advances in immunotherapy, including CAR-T cell therapy. On Saturday, we will explore practical ways to offer precision medicine options to your patients, including an overview of available next-generation sequencing tests and when to order them as well as information about potential treatment strategies for specific mutations.
Conference Objectives are :
• Upon the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Describe the development and clinical use of CAR-T cells
• Review the place in therapy of currently available immunotherapies
• Discuss strategies to manage adverse effects associated with immunotherapies
• Expain the use of biomarkers to select patients for treatment with immunotherapies
• Identify unique aspects of assessing response to immunotherapies
• Describe ongoing clinical trials testing immunotherapies at the MCC
