Pelvic Anatomy and Gynecologic Surgery Symposium (PAGS) is organized by Global Academy for Medical Education and will be held from Dec 05 - 08, 2018 at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America.

Pre-Conference Workshops will be held on Dec 05, 2018.

The target audience for this medical event is gynecologists, Ob/Gyns, residents in OB/GYN, and subspecialty fellows and Advanced Practice Health Clinicians. Residents are welcome at reduced rates. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 34.25 AMA PRA CME Category 1 credits.

Course Overview :
The 2018 Pelvic Anatomy and Gynecologic Surgery Symposium (PAGS) is a CME gynecology conference that will consist of lectures and video presentations by renowned experts who will focus on the indications, techniques, and outcomes for a variety of minimally invasive gynecologic procedures both in the operating room and the office and office setting.

Topics to be discussed during PAGS general sessions include:

• Incontinence and Prolapse Surgery
• Avoiding and Managing Complications
• Gynecologic Oncology for the Generalist
• Medical-Legal Cases
• Fibroid Management & Principles of Electrosurgery
• Surgical Tips for Successful Pelvic Surgery Video Session.

Learning Objectives :
• Recognize key anatomic and physiological principles involved in the treatment of pelvic disorders.
• Identify strategies for avoiding and managing urogynecologic and laparoscopic surgical complications.
• Apply techniques and principles in surgery through hands-on experience.
• Recognize the most appropriate routes of surgical and non-surgical routes for various gynecological conditions.
• Explain the most recent developments in robotic-assisted, laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and open surgery for myomectomy, vulvar and vaginal disorders, endometriosis, hysterectomy, pelvic floor repair and vaginal hysterectomy with oophorectomy.
• Describe current tissue extraction/retrieval techniques.
• Discuss nuances, indications, and techniques for single port and vaginal hysterectomy and "conventional" laparoscopy vs. robotic surgery.
• Describe the role of hysteroscopic surgery, including electrosurgical and mechanical techniques.
• Describe the current management of chronic pelvic pain in women.
• Describe the non-opioid management of pain after benign minimally invasive hysterectomy.
