The Breast Cancer Screening Debate: An Opportunity to Move From Debate to Wisdom
Upon completion of this presentation, participants should be better able to:
• Describe the limitations of population-based screening.
• Recognize the impact of improved breast cancer risk assessment and awareness of the spectrum of biologic behavior of breast cancers on screening and the approach to risk reduction.
• Compare personalized screening to annual screening as described in an ongoing pragmatic trial.

New Concepts in the Management of Severe Preeclampsia
Upon completion of this presentation, participants should be better able to:
• Describe the characterization and pathophysiology of severe preeclampsia.
• Effectively manage severe preeclampsia and reduce morbidities by utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches when patients present with severe preeclampsia.

Lessons in Cesarean Section Reduction
Upon completion of this presentation, participants should be better able to:
• Identify and weigh the risks and benefits of vaginal delivery versus Cesarean section.
• Describe and implement key strategies to avoid the need for a Cesarean section.
• Explain the role of accurate delivery data analysis in preventing Cesarean sections.

How Can the Interventional Radiologist Be Part of the Team?
Upon completion of this presentation, participants should be better able to:
• Recognize the role interventional radiology has played in the safe and effective treatment of postpartum hemorrhage.
• Describe the indications for uterine artery embolization and its positive impact on patient outcomes.
• Effectively diagnose and manage pelvic venous incompetence utilizing the latest concepts in interventional radiology.

Adaptive Platform Trials: Are We Ready to Move Beyond Large Phase 3 Confirmatory Trials?
Upon completion of this presentation, participants should be better able to:
• Compare results from neoadjuvant breast cancer trials and their confirmatory phase 3 adjuvant trials.
• Describe results from the I SPY 2 adaptive platform trial in breast cancer.
• Reconcile the recent adjuvant trials showing that both more therapy and less therapy are better.
• Assess a more personalized approach to patient treatment.

Cervical Pessary for Prevention of Preterm Singleton and Twin Births
Upon completion of this presentation, participants should be better able to:
• Examine the effectiveness of a cervical pessary on the prevention of prematurity in singletons and twins.

Gynecologic Myths, Mistruths and Current Confusions
Upon completion of this presentation, participants should be better able to:
• Analyze the relevance and necessity for Pap smears to be performed on a yearly basis.
• Discuss new guidelines for annual pelvic exams and evaluate their impact on positive patient outcomes.
• Analyze the impact patient and physician breast examinations have on early detection of breast cancer.
