Immunochemistry and Immunobiology Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) is organized by Gordon Research Conferences (GRC) and will be held during Jun 09 - 10, 2018 at Mount Snow Grand Summit Resort, West Dover, Vermont, United States of America.

Course Description:
This meeting is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

Any material that is placed in the human body, ranging from pacemakers to hernia repair meshes, is subject to recognition and response by the immune system. Immune cells govern many processes in normal homeostasis and disease, and can greatly alter materials that are designed for clinical translation. This meeting will begin with advances in basic immunologic principles and technological innovation, followed by translation of materials (macro-devices, nanomaterials and vaccine delivery, and scaffold-based) to the clinic in the context of both immunologic barriers and modulations to promote successful clinical outcomes.
