ESI 15th Annual PET/CT Imaging is organized by Educational Symposia (ESI) and will be held during Apr 21 - 22, 2018 at Walt Disney World Dolphin, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is radiologists, oncologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and nuclear medicine technologists. The course should also prove valuable for physicians who order these studies. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 12.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.
Course Description:
This symposium is structured to provide a clinical perspective of PET and PET/CT imaging. Basic to advanced applications of PET and PET/CT are put in the context of disease detection and treatment planning. All faculty have been chosen for their teaching ability, as well as for their clinical expertise.
Educational Objectives:
Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:
• Apply state-of-the-art protocols to evaluate neurodegenerative disease and head and neck cancers to clinical practice.
• Optimize PET and PET-CT imaging protocols for the detection and follow up lung and breast cancer.
• Describe the advantages and pitfalls of PET and PET/CT.
• Differentiate normal variants and urgent findings on PET/CT.
• Discuss the utility of PET/CT when used to evaluate cardiac disease and gastrointestinal, thyroid and prostate cancers.
