OVERVIEW

Clinical and Contemporary Interventional Radiology 2018 is organized by David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and will be held on Feb 10, 2018 at Shutters On The Beach Hotel, Santa Monica, California, United States of America. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Description:
This one-day educational conference focuses on what is new and notable in interventional radiology. The conference will be separated into topic lecture sessions (in a rapid-fire format), and a best case/worst case session, where the use of new and novel techniques will be featured in addition to morbidity/mortality. There will be a total of 6.5 hours of topic lectures and one hour of best case/worst case for a total of 7.5 hours of educational content.

This conference will allow a forum for the young physician-scientists in the field to talk about the "next generation" of IR. There is also a multidisciplinary session where we can learn valuable clinical skills from our colleagues in ICU, radiation oncology, urology, anesthesia, and Ob/Gyn. The involvement of junior attendings, IR fellows, and IR-interested residents will allow networking opportunities for job seekers, and research and clinical collaboration.

Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
