AOSpine Advanced Seminar - Long-term Effects of Spinal Surgery for Various Spine Pathologies is organized by AOSpine International and will be held during May 31 - Jun 01, 2018 at Moscow, Russian Federation. The target audience for this medical event is Neurosurgeons, Orthopedic surgeons, Spine surgeons.
This 2-day seminar will cover different aspects of spine surgery and particularly pay attention to the problems of long-term effects.
Course Objectives are :
• Evaluate the long-term clinical effect of the surgical treatment and spine injury according to modern classifications and AOS principles.
• Choose the preferable type of approach and the length of fixation in case of spinal injury, with the prognosis for benign long-term effect.
• Recognize advantages, disadvantages, and limitations of MIS & open surgery in case of DDD and predict the benign long-term effect.
• Select the appropriate patient management of specific and non-specific spinal infections.
• Determine the most appropriate approach to prevent the disk herniation recurrence and reoperation.
• Perform and improve practical competency in the assisted repair of above.
