OVERVIEW
SNMICON 2018 - 50th Annual Conference of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, India is organized by Alpcord Network Travel and Conference Management Company and will be held from Nov 22 - 25, 2018 at Bhargava Auditorium, Chandigarh, India.
Conference Description:
The theme for this conference is "50 years of achievements – challenges and opportunities ahead" and will highlight the development of nuclear medicine in India from very basic facilities at a few centers half a century ago to state-of-the-art facilities - at par with the best in the world - available today. Participants will learn of the rapid development and spread of nuclear medicine facilities to the remotest parts of the country in recent years, the people who made this possible and the necessary equipment, regulations and other requirements for setting up new centers.
The scientific program will cover the latest developments in molecular imaging techniques and radionuclide therapy as well as their clinical applications, radionuclide drug development and changing radiation safety and medico-legal considerations of SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and PET/MR fusion imaging. The emphasis will be on interactive sessions and panel discussions with clinical colleagues to encourage the active participation of all delegates. Hope the students and residents will benefit from the experience of their colleagues and teachers and gather encouragement from the pioneers in research. Several international speakers have confirmed their active participation, and this will add to the academic benefits of this conference.
